Single Students

Ordinands funded by their diocese as single students are entitled to meals on a full-board basis during term and accommodation in a single study-bedroom.

The college is able to offer some all-year single accommodation by special arrangement.

Vacation residence when available is currently charged at £135 per week.. Applications should be made by ordinands to their dioceses for financial support to meet vacation rent charges.

 

A student kitchen is available for use during vacations.

Married Students

Ordinands funded by their diocese who are married or in formalized civil partnerships are entitled to lunch during term and the provision of study space.  In addition, the college provides breakfast free of charge to married students during term.

Study space can be provided either as an extra room in the rented college flat or house or as a shared study in college.

The college rents flats and houses to married and civil partnership ordinands at a subsidised rate inclusive of gas central heating and water charges. In addition to the flat/house rental tenants are liable for council tax (where applicable) and electricity payments.  The cost of this accommodation and certain other expenses to the ordinand is met by a separate diocesan family maintenance grant.

Rents for 2018/9

  • One Bedroom Flat: £850 - £899 pcm
  • Two + Bedroom Flat: £978 - £1013 pcm
  • Three Bedroom Flat/House: £1,143 - £1,250 pcm
  • Four Bedroom Flat: £1,950 pcm


Car parking: £125 per annum
