Accommodation

Accommodation and lodging for single students

The majority of our PGCE and Independent students live in the main House in single study bedrooms, some of which are en-suite.  All bedrooms have a washbasin unit and ethernet connection (there is a charge of £25 per year for this).

Battels (charges to the student from the college for accommodation/food etc) have been revised for 2011/2012 and the accommodation charge also includes half board.  This is payable in advance on a termly basis.  The rent below shows the cost for your academic term. Outside of term time, vacation costs are £127pw for a single study bedroom, and £142 pw for an en-suite bedroom.

There is an additional charge of at £24 per year for parking.

Half Board Rents 2011/2012 per term

  • Standard Study bedroom (with shared bathroom): £1,550 per term
  • En-suite Study bedroom: £1,700 per term

If you wish to have an all-year round room, this will either be a room in one of our shared flats, or a standard study room located in the basement, 1st or 2nd floor.  If you opt for an en-suite room, this is on the understanding that you will be required to vacate this room during vacation time if requested to do so by the College.  Please note that you will be allocated a standard study bedroom unless you indicate otherwise.   If you have a paricular accommodation preference please let us know when you make your application.

Accommodation and lodging for married students

If you are moving to Oxford with your family we have 18 flats and houses on site, however we cannot guarantee that there will be availability, so please enquire about house/flat availability as soon as possible.  Tenancies run for the academic year.
