As a Permanent Private Hall of the University of Oxford, St Stephen’s House offers a wide variety of courses, ranging from introductions to Christian theology and ministry to research degrees in Theology and Education, across vocationally-oriented programmes (such as PGCE) and more academic courses of study. We also provide opportunities for sabbatical study and research visits. Our student body is made up of independent students (studying for a range of qualifications in Theology and Education) and ordinands (those studying here as part of their preparation for ordination as deacons and priests).
